If you would like to enjoy ales or lagers, head to one of these breweries near our Germantown, MD apartments where you’ll find these styles and more:

Brawling Bear Brewing

During a business trip, Jenn Rogers and Eric Rosenthal visited a local brewery. After the tour, they shared a pint and realized they had found their calling. That’s how the Brawling Bear Brewing was born. Jenn and Eric spent the next year perfecting their recipes, which are made from the finest, freshest ingredients. They wanted accessible, drinkable craft beer that everyone could enjoy. The taproom offers a casual setting, and the staff enjoys helping guests find their new favorite brew. Choices include Counterpunch, Low Blow Blonde, and First Punch. Brawling Bear Brewing is an 11-minute drive from our apartments.

True Respite

When Brendan O’Leary discovered craft beer, it turned into a homebrewing hobby. That hobby turned into a dream, and soon he was in Denver with his girlfriend visiting every brewery in town. They discussed what made each location special and used their experiences to create a one-of-a-kind craft beer destination. True Respite turns strangers into friends, and it’s where visitors can watch sports and play board games. Beers include Week Away, Citrus City, and Fruit Crushers.  True Respite is a 19-minute drive away.

7 Locks Brewing

At 7 Locks, located a 21-minute Uber ride away, you’ll find a unique community gathering place. It’s one of Maryland’s most award-winning breweries, and on Saturday nights, local musicians take to the stage. The brewers create well-executed and thoughtful beers.
